On Friday September 17, a meeting was held at MBDA Italia headquarters in Rome between the Italian top management of the company and those of Med-Or Foundation, for a first, fruitful discussion on the possible activities of mutual collaboration.

At the end of the visit to the Roman headquarters of the leading company in Europe in the missiles’ sector, the managing director of MBDA Italia, Lorenzo Mariani, and the President of Med-Or, Marco Minniti, have also signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The Memorandum will promote collaborative activities, starting above all with higher education, which represents one of the main areas of interest for Med-Or. In particular, the possibility of setting up internships at the MBDA sites in Italy for young people coming from the Med-Or partner countries will be assessed in the forthcoming months. An opportunity for individual growth and training in an area of great interest and strategic importance, as the one in which MBDA operates. The importance of the agreement, the first of its kind signed by Med-Or with a large company in the aerospace and defence sector, has been emphasized by those attending, even after its signature. In fact, other similar agreements, with companies in the industry and from Leonardo group, are expected.
