Med-Or signs a Letter of Intent with Sultan Moulay Slimane University of Morocco, the University of Jordan and the IRCCS San Raffaele of Rome

On May 23, Med-Or Foundation signed a Letter of Intent with Sultan Moulay Slimane University of Morocco, the University of Jordan, and the IRCCS San Raffaele of Rome, confirming its commitment to strengthening cooperation in the medical field.

On May 23, Med-Or Foundation signed a Letter of Intent with three leading universities in the Broader Mediterranean region, including Sultan Moulay Slimane University of Morocco, a cultural, scientific and professional institute established to address future challenges at the scientific, economic, social and environmental levels; the University of Jordan, the leading national university in the fields of science, technology, socio-economics and culture; the IRCSS San Raffaele of Rome, a scientific research and healthcare institute, specialized in rehabilitation and scientific and technological research. The “LoI” was signed by Marco Minniti, President of Med-Or Foundation, by Professor Mustapha Aboumaarouf, President of the Sultan Moulay Slimane University, and - present via video link - by Professor Nahid Omeish and by Professor Mohammad Wasef, respectively Vice Rector and Director of Communication at the University of Jordan, and by Dr. Carlo Trivelli, President of the San Raffaele Group. The signing was attended by the Ambassador of Jordan Kais Abu Dayyeh and the Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of Morocco Abdellatif Jihaoui.

In light of the growing importance of the healthcare and scientific sectors for all Mediterranean countries, the goal of the inter-university agreement is to promote cooperation and collaboration activities in the sector under the “Medical Med Universities” project. Specifically, joint initiatives will focus on medical research, telemedicine, professional training, and e-learning.
